Hi Everyone,

Thinking of adopting a 7-month-old Leopard Tortoise that is showing signs of pyramiding. Can this be cured, or will it always have that?

It can be stopped but not "cured". However, if it's not too bad, is stopped, then it won't appear as badly pyramided when it gets older.

The causes and effect of pyramiding on such a young tortoise is what should be considered here. Sounds like it’s been being reared in a dry, desert type of habitat and that is what would concern me here.
