This is Verne he is about 2 years old and eats mainly romaine lettuce, Kale, squash, Zucchini, parsley, cilantro, carrots, wheat grass and apples. It looks to me like he I pyramiding and I am wondering how to change that problem whether it be by changing his diet or by other means.

Thank you in advance for any help! :)

Pyramiding is caused by poor diet, lack of exercise, lack of humidity, lack of hydration, there are some things you need to change. You will not be able to get rid of the pyramiding, just correct it. Change his diet. Go to tortoiselibrary.com there are lots of good suggestion there. He needs lots of exercise. Weather permitting let him outside to munch on some pesticide free grasses and weeds. Is he indoors or outdoors? I would increase his soaks. How old is he? In the summer I spray my tort at least 5 times. I soak her daily.
