Pyramiding

Have an ornate/desert box turtle that I rescued from some horrid conditions (10 gallon glass tank, on sand, feed wax worms only, and no UVB) that has some pyramiding...is there anything to do to help it?

Or is it too late? Btw the turtle in a juvenile/not fully grown at about 4".

If it's still growing you can correct the husbandry and all the new growth will be healthy and the old growth will end up being small bumps...It won't go away completely tho...

good for you to take it now, before it gets too sick to save...
