question about shell

im unsure on if my tortoise's shell should have these white lines in between the grooves in her shell.

if you know anything please help

Its just new (fast) growth, Not to worry.
Just make sure you keep the humidity 80% at least in the hide & mist the tort daily.
It should grow nice & smooth for you.

i was told that the humidity didnt need to be so high. i have mine at about 60% is that alright or no?
and i should mist her?

I mist mine daily - dripping wet ....

60% is fine of you want to raise a pineapple.
But for a Redfoot is should be higher & yes you should mist, EVERYDAY!
