That would be great, but, does your Home Depot really sell organic dandelions? (Seeds or plants or greens)

I get our Sully dandelion from our local International Market, along with cactus/opuntia pads. You might want to see if you have any stores that are “international” - they are quite common in these markets.

If your HD does have, take a pix, I’m curious what they are selling.

Good luck

I wish I could pop to a store to buy dandies, not possible in the Uk.:(
I usually walk in places where I know I can find dandies, away from traffic so they aren't covered in fumes.
I always give them a good wash to get rid of any bugs etc.
I also pick the fluffy seed heads and sow them in my garden.

if I go to Home Depot and got organic dandelions for mybtort will that be ok for her
My local kroger sells organic dandelion greens in the produce section for people food. It grows everywhere in the US. People think it's an ugly weed and have always tried to kill it. They haven't succeeded because it's considered an "invasive weed" Now they're actually buying it to eat. I have tried deep fried dandelion flowers and slow cooked greens from my yard. I feel dehydrated after I eat them. That doesn't mean they're bad. It just means mix it with other stuff. My tortoise ate one of the poof balls. This is such a deep subject. What kind of plants are native in your country? Start there and if you're allowed in your country add dandelions. I like them.

@Jamie5times you might have more luck going to the Whole Foods on Railroad Street and just buying dandelions there. You can check for turnip leaves while you are there as well.

As most plants sold at Home Depot have fertilizers added they won’t be safe for your tortoise.

You *can* buy plants that are ready to be planted in people’s gardens for them to eat themselves. Human food, in other words; they don’t have pesticides. A zucchini or squash plant is something your tortoise can eat, the leaves and stems. They could also have the leaves and stems of a melon or cucumber plant. The plant probably won’t live long but they are cheap enough that they can be easily replaced.
