Hey everyone,
Tommarow morning I'm make a outdoor enclosure for my 9 month old sulcata but I was wondering if I make one do you think he would try an dig his way out? If so how would I protect against him digging his way out?

If you want to first use a raised bed, since he is small still, then you can line the entire bottom/side with a small chicken wire to assure he can only dig to the depth you desire...as well as a cover to assure no aerial assaults....:D

Sulcatas don't dig out. In all my years I've never had one dig out. If they dig, they dig down, not down and then up. Also they usually don't dig much at 9 months.

very true Tom. I had the fear of Bowser, my 34 lb male, digging out when I got him about a month ago. Since then he's begun construction on a burrow which is aprox. 4-5 ft deep now and only goes down.
