That will last you a long time if you also have an outdoor enclosure.
Here is how I see it:
For the first year your Leopard will spend most of the time in this and a few hours each day outside.
After that you'll be keeping your tort outside all day and "s/he" will only sleep inside this or spend cool days in this.
Unless you'll have to accommodate your Leopard inside for a portion of the year, this will be fine. But if winters indoors is a must then this tub should last for a good 4" or 5"
I'm getting closer...I've got the mvb and an incandescent going to the the substrate temp up and start building some humidity. Then I'm going to swap the incandescent out and out the CHE there to stabilize it once the substrate is warm, right now it's been damp and open for 24 hrs so it's been room temp.
I *may* have to cut another hole for an incandescent if I can't keep it warm enough with the 100w mvb and CHE. We shall see...
Then of coarse plants, dishes, and hides...then finally the little queen.
This is a tip I would personally do:
Use a couple of small fist size rocks to make to partial walls. Use rocks that she can't walk over or see over but aren't too big so they don't take up too much room.
If you lay 2 walls out just right you can make the layout like an S from an aerial view. Your baby will enjoy the break up of the environment.
Make sense or am I confusing? Lol
I love doing stuff like that and see great potential with your tub!
That's a REALLY good idea. I definitely planned to break things up but the s shape would be fantastic!
Should I grow some grass in it? Where can I get organic seeds for edible grasses?
