i use 100% coco coir as my substrate. It's brand new. Been in the enclosure for two weeks.... And now I have little plants sprouting up everywhere! Has this happened to anyone else? Does anyone know what they are? Could this be a problem for my turtles? Or lizards for that matter!

Could be anything I guess.
Not had this myself, but I have heard of it.
Have you put any plants that have seeds in for feeding?
It may be them that are sprouting now.
You'll need to post pictures on the plant identification thread.
If in doubt, rip them out.

Inseed everything before feeding,me specially since I have a little one and it would take longer than two weeks to germinate and sprout... They're too small to really identify yet and I didn't want to leave them in there in case they weren't edible so I re planed them into a little pot to see what comes of them.

I'm so glad I found this. I've been finding this same issue in my enclosure! I wasn't sure if it was the coconut or the moss, but this answers that. What brand is it? And please let me know if you find out what they are, I'm really curious.

Definitely not a fungus. Mine have been two-leaf sprouts with fairly long skinny leaves. Never thought about replanting them to see what they are...
