Walter has reached that age of hormone imbalance, and is trying to make mini Walters with anything that will hold partially still, including my computer while I write this. What I'm worried about, and kinda grossed out by, is that while doing the "deed" he starts pooping, a lot. Is there some problem? Is this normal? Isn't that kinda nasty for the lady tortoise?

It's funny, because literally EVERYTHING falls victim to his urges. He even makes squeaking noises, but it's messy entertainment.

Ha ha too funny! None of my males of any species poop a lot after doing the "deed", but maybe someone else's does. He should be fine, just put a couple tortoise figurines in his enclosure so he can practice the "deed" in his enclosure and not on your personal things.

He poops while getting all amorous, after would make some sense. During just makes it seem like he's a bit of a perv. I potentially am getting a real live girl, oh my! For him, but I don't think she'd appreciate being pooped on.

He seems normal and healthy aside from this, it just seems sorta unusual.

You'll need to get at least 2 (3 would be better), otherwise he'll constantly "romance" the one until she eventually dies of stress...2 or 3 females will divide his "reproductive glee" and spread it around.
