I'm not really sure where to post this thread. But I'm really wanting a new tort!! I'm absolutely in love with my Russian tortoise Gilbert and he seems really happy with me. I live all the way in Casper, Wyoming. And I was wondering if anyone was selling near here of if anyone knows of any breeders around this area? I've tried looking around, but have come up with nothing. If anyone has any information, let me know!!

you posted this in the breeding section... so you want a female to breed with your male?
you will need to have 2-3 females and a huge enclosure..
if you are enjoying your one... then just have the one..

Like Laura said, separate enclosures are needed. If you still want one, check out Craigslist, most of them need better homes and care or consider having one shipped. Shipping is done all the time. It's not as bad as it sounds. Also consider Petco/petsmart. Although I hate that they sell animals like tortoises, etc., the tortoise that they do have usually needs to have better conditions and they won't get it sitting in their stores.

Around here (WY, CO) your best bet is to get one shipped from a reputable breeder, rescue one from Craigslist, or last resort (what I wound up doing) "rescue" a healthly one form Petco/PetsMart. I'm not aware of any reputable breeders in the area.
