red foot body temp

i used my infrared gun today to see the body temp of my red foot is 80.3 a good body temp for her ? has anyone else done this?

What you are probaby looking at is the temperature of the carapace,not the internal temp. I would think that is a little low.

when I use mine my torts are usually around 83. 80 seems a touch low...
