Hello,
After almost a year and a half on this platform trying to improve life for my tortoise I have come to the conclusion that he will be better suited with an experienced red foot owner, preferably someone who lives in the US South or another hot, humid area suited to his species. Raising him in the high desert has been nearly impossible and will be harder on him when I have to leave for college in a semester.
He is 8-9 year old male with serious pyramiding and some other issues. As of his last vet visit a month ago he supposedly has nothing critical wrong with him, but I'm not sure. We will fly with him out in the US. If you are interested or want more information, please send me a message or reply.

@rorostortoise Hello my name is Dana my wife Amanda and I are a Non Profit 501(c)3 Tortoise Rescue with 7 RedFoots and 2 YellowFoots right now. We are in CA and you can look us up on YouTube, Instagram or FaceBook .... if you think we may be a good fit please feel free to contact us here on the Forum or any of our social media or even our website JoshuaTreeReptileHaven.org. We do live in the High Desert as well but are planning a 'Rain Forest Poly Tunnel' to keep humidity at acceptable levels.
