I currently have them on Repti Bark & sphagnum moss. The moss is in the hide & along one side of the table. The bark just seems to dry out so fast & loose humidity.

I would use the sphagnum moss. How big is your tort? If bigger that 4" you can use cypress mulch. If you go to home depot you can buy 2 sq. ft. Of it for $3.00.

So we went on a search for cypress mulch today and were unsuccessful! Lowes, Home Depot & Ageay didn't have it. So strange considering you can get it anywhere in the south. So we decided to do the coconut coir. Holy hot mess!!!!!! Hoping it works well.

Would either one of these be ok to use for a red foot?

If you live in California you won't find Cyprus mulch. I love coco coir for indoor. It's warm and cozy for burrowing.
