And check out the caption: "My turtle follows me and seeks out affection. Biologist have reached out to me because this is not even close to normal behavior. He just started one day and has never stopped. I don’t know why." :confused:

Right. Biologists are reaching out to him. Both of my SA leopard males will follow me around like that. My sulcatas will too.

Anthropomorphism...

It's cute. It will get a lot of "ahs". I wouldn't have known any different 6 months ago. I know better now.
It is clear evidence of someone who makes his turtle's actions about him.

When I was in the Galapagos, the wild tortoises extended their necks up when I fluttered my hand under their neck (not touching them, of course). I was told it was because birds would flutter beneath them and remove insects. It wasn't because they wanted to interact with me or pet them.
