hi guys, thought id come here to ask as i know the advice from here is correct

would i be fine purchasing this spider plant for my redfoot tortoise its from a tortoise website so im sure it should be safe but i just want someone to clarify it lol

I've used both Lyriopi and Spider plants with Redfoot. They're inexpensive. They grow large and become great shade and hiding sources. They're sturdy and trample resistant and they don't get nibbled on.
