I have a redfoot who is 2 and a half years old. She is currently in a vivarium 4ft by 2ft. It is kept at 80 degrees with humidity at 80 and has a uvb light. I live in the uk and apart from going outside for a few hours in the summer, she lives indoors. Should I rehome her for her sake and If so who can I trust to keep her in the right environment? I feel her viv is too small now and as she grows more what can I do? I am trying to look after her properly but feel that as she grows I cannot house her adequately. The only rehoming option I have found is shelled warriors but they say they will only rehome to a tortoise table as vivarium have poor ventilation. Any suggestions or advice welcomed. does the humidity and temperature have to be both at 80 for her whole life?
