Replacing my MVBs for the spring/summer since I won't need as much heat output spring/summer here in TX. Got 65watt floodlights per Tom's recommendation but is led ok? This is for a closed chamber.

Led stand for light emitting diodes . they emit light but usually very little to no heat, did you want something that produces heat? Or just light? It probably gets really really hot in summer in TX.

I've talked about this with other tortoise keepers and no one is comfortable recommending LEDs over animals just yet. I don't know if they are safe, or not.

Thanks. It was just for light since I won't need heat in spring/summer. I read Tom's advice that not enough is known about LEDs so I ordered the zoo med 75w uv bulbs.
