Hey. So my friend picked up an RES & I want to get her some care info. I may be adopting one as well. I currently only have experience with sully's & leo's. Maybe I'm blind but I can't find a section on RES in series specific. If anyone can direct me or have any tips, it's greatly appreciated !

I'm assuming similar to boxies?

The best way I have found is an outdoor pond . I got water hyacinth and Watercrest . I also feed feeder fish, shrimp , and mazuri turtle food . In the winter time I quit feeding and the sleep it out . I have sand and mud on the bottom so they can dig in . But it really does not freeze here so I works out well .

Here is a pictures of my happy slider .
