So, I have been giving Comrad a soak/bath every 2- 3 days ( we gave him a soak on Mon & Wed - today is Friday); plus he always has fresh water put in his dish each morning. But this morning I woke up and he was soaking and drinking in his water dish. Do you think he is WAY dehydrated or is this normal???

He is happily sun bathing outside and trucking ALL over the enclosed back yard

my russians love to soak and drink on their own, If I try to soak them they throw fits and try to get out, so if he is soaking and drinking on his own, then that is good.

**Huge Sigh** Okay good! Before I learned about self soaking he was soaking himself more. But he hadn't been doing that since I started giving him his soaks. :) Thank you for your response, this has made me feel MUCH better. Thanks!!!

His situation might not have been too good before you got him. He is so happy to have clean water available! He sounds great.
