Runny poo

Hey everyone. My 6 or 7 month old Russian has been doing very well thus far. Yesterday, for the first time, it’s feces was a bit runny while soaking. A couple days before I introduced the right cactus into its diet (before I had the wrong one and it didn’t touch it) and it absolutely LOVES it. I admit I might have fed it too much. Would this cause the runny poop? I haven’t fed it any cactus since and it’s poop was a bit harder today but still was a bit more moist then I’d like to see. It’s eating well and being active, no other problems that I can see. Should I be concerned? Wanted to get some expert opinions before I bring fecal sample to vet. If it persists I will definitely have it checked for parasites

Its probably the cactus.
Stop feeding it for a few days and see if the poop is less runny

Totally the cactus. My experience is that they love cactus and succulents, but feed sparingly because it can make some loose poo.

Right on, thanks. Sort of strange saying this but in a way I’m relieved it’s nothing more serious. I think I got excited because I’ve heard so much about cactus and how torts love it so much. It will definitely be a smaller part of its diet from now on. I appreciate your time

Nothing strange about being happy it isn't something more serious! It'd be strange if you were disappointed! Lol
