I finally got my Russian to eat some Mazuri today! I have been trying to trick her into eating it for months because she doesn't like it plane, but today I mixed it with some grass (as I always do) and she finally decided to try it! And loved it! :D I am so happy, and I feel so accomplished! :D

How cute!!! I know how difficult it is to get a stubborn animal to eat something good for them! Speaking of that, tomorrow is deworming day for my horse.... think I'd rather deal with a russian tortoise! ;)

I know the feeling my Greek Tort hates collard greens and almost all recommended weeds. Although he eats mustard greens and romaine like a champ. I just bought some mazuri have you noticed a significant change in your guy's behavior since?

I'm doing it, I always do. My mom helps though, and thankfully Chip is a good boy about it (most times). He's been in the pasture for two months now though bc I broke my ankle and haven't been able to ride. Gotta teach him manners again! Lol

Well she just had some today, but maybe a little bit of a change. But no significant changes.

That is good news! Only one of my Russians (the female) eats Mazuri, or any commercial food, for that matter. The male is strictly au naturale. ;)

I tried giving my Russians Mazuri once, and they didn't take more than a bite...Redfoot and Sulcata eat it all now.

Kiwi didn't like it when I first offered it to him but Lyra likes it. Too bad she doesn't get mazuri face. She's so fancy n neat when she eats it. I think I'll try to offer it to Kiwi again :) maybe mix some favs in it for him like you did :) btw your baby is so beautiful!

Cute! I have never tried to get mine to eat Mazuri, but the adults all brumate during the winter here. So by the time they wake up there is plenty of weeds. Maybe I should try giving it to the babies... I'll have to think about that...
