Russian Female going back to lay hole

I have a Russian female that laid eggs on August 3. I dug up the eggs and now they are in the incubator. The female keeps on going back to the hole and just laying on top of the hole that I have already filled back in. Is this an ok occurence or is this rare.

Since there is no egg care or hatchling care behavior in Russian tortoises, she must just like that spot. I don't think they even remember that they laid eggs in a certain spot, though they do sometimes lay in the same spot each year.

Its a little early, but she may be feeling the urge to lay eggs again and she liked that spot.
