You need to separate ASAP. Russians should not be in pairs, and they can kill pretty quickly. if you don't have the space for a separate enclosure, you may have to give it to someone else. Once they start fighting, it will never stop until one is dead.

This is a bit old of a thread, but I stumbled on it and wanted to say if the tort doing it is male and the other is female that your describing mating behavior. If not, it is just aggression and is dangerous. If you want eggs, let them mate then separate them. Russian females can't get away from the male in captivity as they do in nature and can literally be screwed to death.
