Hi, I have a male & female 3ish year old russian tortoises. Ive had a very hard time finding tortoise pellets that does not have the meat proteins that they cant have. All they will eat is Romaine & a flower blend which is not a sufficient diet. Please let me know what brand tortoise pellets yours eat so I can try it. Unlike my Hermanns, They want nothing to do with any of the options in the local pet stores.

Many U.S. owners feed Mazuri, either the LS or the "original" tortoise diet. Mazuri may be labeled or sold under the Nutrazu brand in your area.

Zoo Med is also fairly popular there but I think is available at the regular shops?

Pre Alpin testudo tortoise diet doesn't get mentioned often here, it is not available in the U.S. but has always looked like an amazing food to me.

Additionally the U.K based Shell Warriors shop sells several dried leaf plants (not flowers): https://www.shelledwarriorsshop.co.uk/dried-flowers-weeds-314-c.asp if you want to consider a different mix in.

Whichever one you choose you will want to start by soaking a pellet or two until it's soft and mixing it in with the regular diet. Ease them into it.
