You can try Arcadia optimized52 which is made in the UK. It took about three weeks to get my torts to love it by mixing everyday with other foods. Once they love it they love it and it is super healthy

@The_Four_Toed_Edward ....
Maybe able to help.
Nothing against ZooMed but NO tort of ours will eat those pellets. This really makes me wonder 'what' it would cost to send ....let's say... 25 LBS. of Mazuri to you? Why don't we start a 'International Shipping' program for our tort friends across the pond... and a little further.

Mazuri is not licensed for sale in Europe. In Europe it is sold under the brand Nutrazu. Exact same product, just the European license/brand name.

Its not about money, pellets dont pass customs in my experience.

Try asking for Hikari Mulberific - it has better composition than Komodo and most tortoises readily eat them.

Agrobs PreAlpine are also a good choice for Testudo species but, very likely, your tortoise will refuse to eat it - they are not very palatable, just like ZooMed Grassland. This type of pellets/toppers is just dried grasses and weeds mixture without any additional nutrients and vitamins.

I personally use Agrobs herbs but there is definitely a period of getting used to it. Agrobs pre alpine that Alex mentioned is probably just as good.

All tortoises refuse to eat the ZooMed pellets at first. Like any other good food, it takes weeks or months to slowly introduce new foods starting with very small amounts. I've never had a single tortoise love the ZooMed pellets the first time (or the second or third time...) it sees them, but all of my tortoise love it after being introduced to it.

Arcadia Optimised 52 is a great food and should be available over there, and all the Mazuri pellets are all good too.

We are very good at getting animals to eat whatever we want them to, but Zoomed pellets none of them like ever. We feed over $100 a day of Romaine and 10+ pounds of Mazuri EVERYDAY it's not a 'at first' deal it's a 'they don't like it ever' deal.

This is what you need

I assume you tried mixing it with non-chlorinated water and letting it sit for about 15 minutes until soft? I have been giving the ZooMed Grassland to our Hermann's Tortoise on top of greens during winter months. He seems to love it. I think it took some getting used to the first week or two, but no problems after that. Maybe put it on top of some cucumber slices just to really entice?

My tort has loved Mulberific Delight from the first sniff. A little pricey but very nutritious. Low protein and 5:1 calcium:phosphorus ratio. Main ingredient-mulberry leaves. My guy is a little over 5” and eats 1/2 - 1 tablespoon dry measure for a meal (expands 4 times when moistened). He really seems to like the texture, which is unusual, a bit spongy.

I was just re reading this and don't know why I didn't catch this the first go around. as
Strawberry or banana juice
said.
If you use the optimized 52 and soak in at least warm water you will get a very aromatic and tasty (broth, tea,) liquid that will attract them to eat anything you soak in it. This will also allow you to avoid excessive sugars like are present in fruit juices. It as well offers a very plant based option ya never know 'what' comes in so many things. The optimized 52 is a very good food, we even fork out the money to give it to our biggest Sulcatas (200 lbs.) as a great nutrient packed tasty treat.
