I'm so bummed! I am waiting for the owner to call. They saw they flyer. They better get 4 out of 4 correct, or I keep it. They told my friend it's their 13 yr old daughter's. Going to find a care sheet just in case!

I seriously hope they fail the test, poor tortie needs a new home with proper care.

Well, he just left with his owners. They were super sweet and didn't know he was a russian tortie, because they were told it was a desert tort. I gave them a care sheet, and gave them some pointers. I showed them Rusty's pen and told them it's was super easy to build. They had thought someone took him from their yard. He lived 2 doors down from where he was found. Happy ending for them. I am so so sorry Fernando, I feel aweful. You have first dibbs if I come across another!

I told her I would ask, she said that his shell did not curl up prior to hibernation, and she was wondering what caused it.

So what should I tell her?

Fernando is interested in acquiring a Russian tortoise, and this thread has gotten a bit congested, burying his message, so he's asked me to close the thread. He will open a new one in the "wanted" section.
