Salad topper

Hello everyone. I had a couple more questions :
Is it Okay to put salad topper for my baby sulcata Turtle, I will attach picture.
Also I only have organic soil in his house is that okay for now??

We’d ideally need to see the ingredients list🙂
As for the soil, store brought top soil isn’t the best idea as there’s no telling what kind of plants have gone into it, could be something toxic. If wanting to go the ‘dirt’ route, you’re best getting some coco coir, you could also layer some orchid bark or forest floor on top😊

That salad topper is made for forest torts. They need more protein and fruit in the diet. You need a salad topper made for sulcatas, which are a grass eating species.. I prefer the toppers made and sold by tortoisesupply.com, and kapidolofarms.com has dozens of excellent dried leaf options to add in for variety too.

Soil should not be used as tortoise substrate.
