That is a great pond.

I have to run my sprinklers on my weeds and wild grasses between our infrequent rain storms, and all my sulcatas love to come out and get rained on and drink from the puddles.

I should really make a pond like yours this spring.

Well thanks Tom . That little pond is ten 60 lbs bags of cement . I used a piece of hog panel welded it to the shape . Then dug the hole and filled in with cement . The big ones love it .

Do you think it would hold up without the hog wire? Did you seal it with Drylok or anything?

Kevin made one without wire so I guess so . His is bigger and has rocks on the sides looks way better than my pond . Yes I did line it with drylok . Cement can be toxic by itself . I used the wire so it will not crack . If it has a small crack and a freeze happens then you will have a big crack .

Thank you for the construction tips.

The sides of this pond are sloped so I can use a push broom and sweep it out . Then Sally will lay in the mud it makes an cover herself with it . Pretty funny will get a picture next time . It was only 70 today so she went straight back in her house .
