Sometimes I wonder why I go onto CL, since I can't home any of these guys at the moment and it just makes me feel bad, but maybe someone else can help these big critters out.

Those are all from a former rescue. The owner had some personal problems and he closed the rescue and is selling off all of the herps (yes, selling). They were relatively well cared for, and if he really wanted to rehome them, he would not be selling rescues. He's relatively known in the local community and I've had some brief dealings with him that were... interesting.

And the Radiated in particular just kills me.

It looks like its enclosure is so narrow and bare. It must just pace or lay there all day.

It was in a "condo" when I saw it, but I don't know that it was always kept that way. The "rehoming fee" is consistent with the typical market price.

LOL. I just bought something from him off of CL and happened to know some of the names he dropped and met others at the Pomona show. A lot of what I know of him, he told me -- a lot more than I said here.

omg..that radiated is very bad with pyramiding...it makes me so mad that ppl dont know how to care for these animals!!

I know. I was so heartbroken to see what became of what should have been such an amazingly beautiful creature.
