Are sardines ok to feed tortoises? The ingredients include Sardines, olive oil and something else

If they were packed in water,I'd say OK. But I'd be hesitant about feeding the oil.

The redfoots maybe, but not the Russians. Even if you rinsed them off, I don't think the oil would be a good choice.

That was my thinking. I was only going to off them to the red foots, but I was worried about the oil.

You should be able to find sardines or salmon packed in spring water. I offer this occasionally to my hingebacks, but not frequently because between the fish and the fishfull poop the enclosure can smell pretty awful for a couple days.
