I would not use it. According to the MSDS it will cause respitory issues if inhaled and skin and eye irritation if exposed. It also must be on for a longer period of time than I would be comfortable exposing my turtle to. I found that time and a little patients is best. As long as you can get the paint off of the growth areas.

Absolutely beautiful! So nervous about mine. They are under two feet of snow right now. I only have one GC, my first one ever, and he has a lot of red in him and lots of yellow on his face and legs. I have no idea where he came from, but he is full of personality and can be aggressive at times.
