I bought these seeds from tortoise supply implanted a few in my backyard. They grew but at that time I wasn’t aware of the ant issue in my outdoor enclosure. It to make things easier for me. I got a little pot dish with some coco coir - planted the seeds on Sunday, it is incredible to see how much and how fast they have grown!!! I can’t wait to feed greens that I can’t get in the grocery store and know are clean to my baby!

Seeds will sprout in coir, but I don't know how well they will grow out in it due to the lack of nutrients in it. You also need a much taller pot to give the roots some room to reach down.

I had thought about that… really the idea behind it is I’m going out of town for a couple of days and wanted access to a little bit of fresh food, but did worry about the logistics of it. It has been been fun to watch them sprout but will probably have to talk to my mom (garden expert) and figure out how to get them into a new pot to actually use them. Thanks Tom!

I was shopping for those (or, I'm guessing. Their broadleaf seed pack) and I thought it said to plant in the spring so I postponed my order. What are your thoughts??
