Hi everyone

I was just wondering if you folks out there can help me to guesstimate the gender of my five leopards please? I've tried to compare them to pictures I found online but I am just not very confident of my own judgement. It appears to me they are all girls. I am not very sure. Pls help....

thank you
Jay

yeh I agree the youngest is to early to tell but to me they all look female. Looks like youre gonna need a lucky young stud soon for that group.

I doubt it. All tortoises look female until right before they become sexually mature.

At what size would you say this happens?

I agree with Yvonne. The first pic looks too little yet. What's the ages and size of the rest of them? Are any of them getting a concaved plastron? Can you show better shots of the tails.

My guess is going to be 2/2 or 3/1, one female. I'm not including the smallest one.

if you take pic's so we can see the entire tail, like the 4th pic it'll make it easier.

Smallest is way too young still. Males generally have pretty huge tails so you'll notice the difference when you see it. The pic posted earlier is a perfect example. Also sometimes males will evert if you run their tail under warm (NOT HOT!) water. I had a male that did that every time i soaked him as long as the water was warm!
