Sometimes in some situations, yes. My climate is very dry here, and when I first move juveniles outside full time, the growth seams can get very dried out. The coconut oil helps to ease this transition. I don't use it on indoor babies, and I don't use it on large fully grown adults.It sounds like I don’t have to use the coconut oil! Tom do you use it?
Kitchen paper and ear buds are killing me hahaI use kitchen paper and then dispose as it gets dirty. I use an ear bud ( qtip) for difficult scute edges that paper can not get to.
His shell looks pretty smooth.. nice job. The white dryness ur seeing on the growth lines looks like mineral deposits from hard water. Do you spray him down a few times a day?
