Shell rot is caused by a fungus much like athletes foot. Some Tortoise species are more prone to it. I would say a damp dirty enclosure would be why it would thrive. A damp clean environment with a proper UV exposure should prevent its ability to grow. Treating the shell rot on the shell with athletes foot cream will stop the growth of the fungus.

Thank you very much for your advise.
Blackdog, I have already started with your recommendations but am unsure how Evo got what looks like shell rot.
I keep the substrate clean but with high humidity in her hideaways ( substrate and bark moist) I’m not sure How to stop dampness.

It is almost just like how people are. I know guys that can atheletes foot just looking at a locker room and yet know guys that I can walk around barefoot in the showers all day and not get anything! You just have to keep an eye out and always have a tube ready!

Was wondering do I rub the cream all over plastron or only on the light areas?

You can use the Athletes foot cream if you want..it can't hurt anything...
But I'm not seeing any fungus.
Those are scrapes from climbing over cement or some other rough surface.
At any rate, I see nothing to be worried about.
