Shell worries

I need some advice about our 8 month old leopard tortoise as I've noticed in the last week that his "skirt" seems slightly soft.
His diet is lambs lettuce and dandelion leaves, which I dust with calci dust supplement once or twice a week. He gets a soak in warm water for about 10 minutes every other day and in every other aspect he seems healthy and active. He weighs 56 grammes.
Any advice or suggestions would be helpful, thank you.

For one he needs a much wider variety of a diet. Two items is no where near enough. Spring mix, endive, ridicchio, mustard and collard greens, just to name a few.
Second, show a pic of him and the enclosure. And a run down on temps. Humidity and lighting and heat your using
