Just curious...does this look like shellrot of any sort? If so, what kind (bacterial, fungual, etc), and what's the best way to treat?

Thanks in advance,
Michael

The light areas look like some form of erosion to me. Is the substrate damp or rough?

It doesn't look like shell rot to me, although I would keep an eye on it.

To elaborate, he did have this when I acquired him last Sept. Attached is a couple images from then.

He was on cypress mulch at the time, but I switched him over to coco coir a few months ago. It is not overly damp.

Yeah, I know...I just don't know what either looks like, and I know it is a "catch-all" term for both, so I just went ahead and used it.

However, the Tortoise pictured doesn't have either or.........

Good to know!
