Does Shelly's tail look healthy? I am concerned that it looks like discoloration. I took Shelly to the vet last Friday for an exam and parasite test, she said the body condition was good.

It looks all right to me from what I can see. If you post a photo showing more of the other skin areas (on the legs and surrounding skin) for comparison to the tail, it might be helpful.

It looks a little brown at the tail (near the poop shute lol), it's a very slight difference from the rest of the skin. Hard to capture on my phone's camera, not sure if another pic would help. I
thought maybe it was stained but tried to clean it off and soaked Shelly and I can't tell if it changed anything

If that's all you are seeing, I would not worry about anything.

I figured, just wanted to make sure. I worry about this little thing a lot lol. Here are some more pictures I was able to get just in case. The brown on the feet is just from substrate

The tortoise looks perfectly fine to me. I wouldn't worry about it any more if I were you. The new growth is substantial and that looks very healthy also.

I've had that problem with Jacky and Daisy!

Dear @jharrris,

What was meant to happen this evening:

I was meant to clear Jacky's enclosure, bring her in, wash up and settle down in front of the TV.

What actually happened:

I cleared Jacky's enclosure, brought her in and then I noticed a leak so I put her in the enclosure and ran to get the soaking tray, put Jacky in, cleaned the enclosure, put Jacky in, cleaned the soaking tray, cleaned myself (put clothes in the laundry) and settled down to watch TV within washing up. Jacky is going to have a bath tomorrow!!!!!!
