Just went to feed my box turtles, and one of my females was sitting there eating an egg. I don't know who laid it, and couldn't find any evidence of a nest, or any other eggs. Oh well.

Chances are it was either infertile, or you don't have a proper nesting site.......Good Eggs generally aren't scattered about on the ground......

I was just out checking again for evidence of a nest, and I found a nest from about two weeks ago, that I couldn't find before, with two eggs. I carefully removed, and brought them in. No veins in eggs yet, but look good. So actually, today I'm plus two.

I found another egg this morning very close to where the last one was. I was outside early, and I got to this one first. I suspect my female who is missing a back foot. She gets around fine, but cannot dig. Got my fingers crossed. My first four should hatch soon. It's been 52 days now, and the eggs are completely opaque now.
