My RT loves to burrow non-stop in the evening. I, myself am an insomniac and I am up incredibly late, so to avoid disturbing Tonka, I tape black construction paper around the enclosure. When I finally do lay down, I can hear him burrowing more and more until he begins scratching against the glass.
Can you dig?
Currently, his enclosure is a long aquarium on top of my bookshelf. By the fall (hopefully sooner), I plan on losing the bookshelf to make room for a small kiddie pool as his new home so he can have more room to roam and dig when the warm days begin to become more scarce here in Michigan.
I'd just like to hear some other RT sleeping habits.
