Sleeping habits

My red footed tortoise has recently been propping herself up on her food dish or other items in her tank. She will either droop her legs or go into her shell. Is this normal? Her appetite is good and she soaks herself in her water dish regularly. All seems fine just odd that she started doing this. I have had her for about 3 years now.

I'm wondering if its a form of dominance on those bricks.

Can we see a full side pic of her? She looks like she may have a case of MBD, or it's just the angle of the pic and her.
However, an aquarium is way too small for her. She needs a room size enclosure and should be outside in a proper enclosure when it's warm out. Aquariums are okay for hatchlings and hatchlings only!
