Hello everyone! My baby sulcata sleeps quite a bit but is very active when he is awake, but lately he has been falling asleep in his food bowl and sometimes with food in his mouth. Is this bad?

I keep his enclosure between 75 and 85 degrees F. At night the temp drops to between 60 and 70 degrees F. He has a cuttle bone for calcium and he is feed spring mix and mostly romain lettuce. His humidity is kept between 50 - 80%. He as a UVB light and a heat lamp in the day and a purple heat lamp at night. He also has a heating pad that sticks underneath his enclosure. He gets soaked in warm water up to his neck for 5-10 minutes every morning.

I would say to boost up the temperature at night time to around 80 for babies. When they are bigger and older they can be in the high 60's but not babies.

Also i would try to feed him other types of food besides the romaine, spring mix is good but try like kale, collard and if you can hibiscus and clovers. Try soaking him longer too, like 20-30 minutes.
