I ended up buying a new encosure I did not have time to build what i wanted that will come once I move. this was on sale and its alot bigger then what he was in. what he was in comes to just over half of this one and this one is wider so tons of space. So far he is afraid sticks to the cool side. mvb on the left che on the right. that sound ok.

Nice tank. Just be sure to cover the sides at his height if he starts to band into the glass or constantly pace or dig at it.

Looks nice. What are the temps? Is the only hide on the cool side? That may be why he is staying over there.

Personally I don't like the open wire type light fixtures, but if it is working in your particular enclosure so be it. The solid walled ones though focus' the light and heat, which is nice and beneficial.

I like the enclosure, but I think he needs a couple of secure hiding areas too.

I'm going to add one in the middle also closer to the heat. O in te bottom left corner. The reason I use the wire is because I've read some scary stories on bulbs bursting from heat. Just don't want any accidents. The hit on the rock for today was 94 highest I had my fan on so when it of it'll go up. I got hot moving it. The cool side is 79 to 82 middle 85 to 90. I'm still working with heat. He is inlove with the tree in the right corner. I only have that hide for now is because he will not hide in anything wet or hot. He just doesn I'll try. He likes to hide in the banana plant. We will see how this goes.

Should I switch to a solide fixture? He's been using that one well over a year.
We will see how tmrw goes I'll measure temps.
