Soak Day for some torts here at the sanctuary

Today was a soak day for the Africa house at the North Texas Tortoise Sanctuary. Some arent from africa but kept in the same building for their dry climate needs. Now its time to move onto the next building :)

Oh thats not even a quater of them. All the redfoots and yellowfoots are behind them. I love the good busy. Wish It could be my primary full time job.

It should be im thinking 4 years and I should be able to give myself a salary from offspring. Not bad retiring at 30 :)

No they can under the non-profit clause I incorporated it under. Theres some that cannot be sold and only kept for protection. Right now its mainly cites 2 animals with some exceptions, that cannot be sold. The rescued animals, and endangered cannot be sold or the offspring, under the organization. Im still alloted a salary from the organization. its super complicated, and blah blah blah. :)
