Soil/dirt for outdoor enclosure?

What kind of soil/dirt do you put in an outdoor enclosure?

You can still go with coco coir in an outdoor enclosure...potting soil...anything organic really...

I just build my pens on whatever dirt is already there. Occasionally I've had to import some dirt, and in that case, I bought top soil at Lowe's.

Can I use any potting/top soil or does it have to be organic?

It should be organic. Potting soil typically has those little round bits in it, and you don't want those, because the tortoise may try to eat them.

I would use organic so it does not have any fertilzer in it
