During Nighttime, and early Mornings my baby Sulcata stays in
a 40 gallon terrarium, with zoo med coconut and zoo med bark!
I have a Water Dish and food cup in there, along with a humid
Hide. I Recently added some top soil so he can walk and bask on top of his humid box which i think he is gonna love, since most of the tank was
flat for a while! He managed to dig up the right corner a mini burrow!
He Spends most of his day outside, in the pen i built him!

So i figured to post some pictures of his new terrarium setup!

Okay, my youngest had the bed set at one time and I thought it was funny when I saw it.

Looks good :) But watch the front of the log hig when he climbs up on it he could walk off the front and land on his back if your not around to flip him back over I did the same thing as soon as I turn my back one of mine was on his back I was lucky I was right there

Nice! Okay if you read many of my posts, you know I try to see ANYthing that may be a problem. So my question is this... it sounds like the light/heat is just above the hide, correct? Does your little guy know how to quickly get back upright, if he gets onto his back? See where I am headed? With putting the dirt on top of the hide your encouraging him to climb up there, which is a good thing in the long run. However, because he is young, I am worried he may fall off the hide and onto his back under (or very close to it) the heat and could not get up and away. Okay, that is all from the forum worrywart. :p:tort:

yes im going to watch him close, and hopefully nothing bad happens!

I Keep the uvb heat lamp and the reg heat on the left side where the bark is in the corner!
not directly in the midddle by the hide

Little guy's looking good, Jacob!

Oh...and my little niece wants her blanket back! ;)

Keep up the great work, man! You're doing an awesome job with him. Have you come up with a name yet?
