Some wild Box Turtles

Unfortunately I haven't seen a wild box turtle in some time in my area. However I have a buddy in Carolina about 2 hours north of here and he has been seeing them all over the past few days. One is even currently nesting near his driveway as we speak. I figured I would share some pictures he's been sending me here.

My grand daughter lives in New Jersey and she sent me a picture the other day of a snapping turtle nesting at the edge of the CVS parking lot. Crazy turtles.
