Sphagnum Moss

Just wondering if the Sphagnum Moss that you buy from Lowes or Home Depot is the same as the ones in the pet stores.

I like to get the Mosser Lee brand. You have to pull out some junk, but it works well and is economical.

Mosser-Lee or Better-gro are the two kinds I use, both are at Lowes and Home Depot. The Mosser-Lee brand is actually naturally repellant to molds and funguses...I've never had any grow in it.

I know some sphagnum looks like soil. The stuff I get is gold and fluffy. Comes compressed in a 500 gram brick.
