spots on shell?

Took Gracie for a walk around the yard and noticed some strange spots on her shell? I didn't want to spend all the money to take her to the vet unless its serious! Cause my dad would freak out about paying a bill unless it was necessary. ill attach some pictures. Is there anything I can

Honestly, I think she looks fine. Just keep an eye on her and report if anything changes. I think you're in good shape.

I'm not an expert but it looks so so? Not good but not bad bad? The shell rot pics I've seen looks like raw ulcers and a lighter color. Yours might be the natural spotting leopards get (if it is a leopard). Looking at his one foot and the edges he doesn't look super healthy?
For you to make the effort to post these pics and ask the question means you have a hunch somethings not right with him.
Maybe to save money you can call a local reptile house and ask if their expert can take a look, they won't charge you for that and their expert might know more about tortoise than the vet.
You could also test for mold. Do you have any black mold in the house?
Can you post some pics of his face, mouth, eyes?

Are the spots chips into the shell or bumps on the exterior? This is very important please respond.

Tom has more tortoise experience than I , so if he said she looks fine then she probably is. My opinion is she looks a little dull like maybe she needs better UV light and better nutrition and exercise? Any of those areas lacking? If you do change anything it could take months before you notice any improvements.
