Are all my stars indian stars or is there a burmese star species in the picture. I can't differentiate this species yet.

Those are all Indians.

Platynota(Burmese) do not have speckles on the head. Platynota heads are solid yellow, and so are the legs, and tail.

The one in the middle is actually 80% more yellowish than the others but the only thing is that it has some speckles on his head and legs. Will take a close up shot later in the morning. Thanks btw.

The one in the middle does have a nice Burmese star type radiation pattern. But still an Indian. Would be cool if you got one instead of an Indian. Hard to tell exactly she's kinda tucked in. But this burm is just at a year old. Pretty yellow. I will get a better photo of this one and an adult and sub adult later tonight, if I remember. Ha

There's one foolproof way of telling them apart. Look at their plastron. Burmese do not have the radiating lines as Indian do. 1st pic Burmese, 2nd pic Indian.

One other thing to identify between them: Price.

Indian Star are normally about 1/3 to 1/2 of the price of the Burmese star.

If you get it for free, that will be different story...
